The Robotics for Good Youth Challenge is a global initiative aimed at empowering students to design, build, and program robotic solutions that address critical global challenges, including those related to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Nigerian edition of this challenge will focus on disaster management, encouraging participants to develop innovative solutions for issues like earthquake response, seismic risk prediction, and environmental resilience.
The competition will bring together 40 teams of students from schools across Nigeria, with each team comprising up to six participants. Three winning teams will represent Nigeria at the AI for Good Global Summit 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland, with all travel expenses covered by ITU.
